What to do with your old home/office phone?

There are many organisations that will gladly accept your mobile phones but what do you do with your old analog home/office phone?

Telecom Green remove and recycle business telephone systems, using approved Environment Agency methods for waste disposal. They will also accept and recycle domestic telephones, by prior arrangement. But these need to be shipped to them at the owner's expense.
